TUTORING SERVICES
K-12 Tutoring
Career Zones will test each student through a McGraw Hill developed diagnostic testing program. This program will test each student and measure their skills according to other students at the same age and grade-level nationwide. This diagnostic test will be analyzed to develop an improvement plan for each student.
Career Zones instructors will then develop lesson plans through McGraw Hill Passkey which provides content that is tuned into the state curriculum and specific tests, like ISTEP, that students must take through the school system. Each lesson will start with a pre-test and end with a post-test. Students will go through a series of learning exercises to master the necessary skills in that lesson. These pre and post tests will be monitored closely and parents will be provided a weekly report of the student's work. Tutors will use additional Career Zones tools to further assist students. Career Zones will also have additional learning tools for gifted students that are able to get through Passkey with ease. Students will be tested through McGraw Hill testing programs to assess their progress on a monthly basis. At the end of the 12 months, students will be given diagnostic tests for the next level to assess improvement in the previous 12 months and directions for the next 12 months.

Walk-in Tutoring
Walk-in Tutoring is available for students who need help in everyday homework, quizzes, and/or exam prep. The student will have one-on-one tutoring in special classrooms within the Career Zones facility. This service allows the student to get direct help with their current problems at hand. Cramming when you are alone and unsure what to do can be very stressful, let us make sure you are properly prepared and attain the desired results.

Online Tutoring
Our Online Tutoring program is perfect for the student with a busy schedule. Many youths miss out on the extra help they need to develop their academic skills due to their hectic schedules and lack of a set time to consistently practice these skills. This program allows students to have the personal lessons they need during any time of the day at their convenience. Our partnership with McGraw Hill Passkey insures that the content students are spending their extra time with is properly preparing them for the curriculum they see at school. Whether the service is used to catch up with their classmates or get ahead of the pack, our online tutoring program can be a valuable asset to any student.

SPECIALIZED SERVICES
ESL Classes
We know that communication barriers can severely limit opportunities. Our hope is that this program will help dissolve those problems for our students. Career Zones will work with dedicated students on drastically improving both their written and spoken English skills. A proven course instructor with a track record of success will directly work with students each week. The students can then come in and practice their newfound ability in our weekend workshop. This insures that the students do not just receive an academic understanding of the language, but also build upon practical conversational skills in a group setting to improve the quality of their everyday lives.
